Happy St. Patricks Day!

Just a quick card before I leave for work.  This is a card that I did as a swap for my downline meeting and one of my clubs.

I took inspiration from a few places and changed it up a little.

The colors used are Old Olive and Certainly Celery with my base being Crumb Cake.  DSP used is the Holly Jolly!  And I created my little shamrock with the small heart punch and used the Rhinestone jewels to put in the center.  And of course Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.  If you don't  have it, get it, its a must have!

Have a safe day!

Crazy for Cupcakes Bag

So I totally CASED this little project from Angie Juda.  I changed up the colors but that's about it.
We did this bag at a birthday workshop for one of my good customers.  So easy and so stinking cute!

I used Pretty in Pink cardstock along with Early Espresso.  It would make a GREAT party favor bag for a birthday.

The inside bag is one of those little craft bags you can get at the craft store.  You'll want to trim off the top so cut it to 4 3/8".  Back piece is 5 3/4" x 3 5/8" and scored at 1 1/4".  This makes the flap come over the top.  The front piece is 4 1/2" x 3 5/8".  The piece with the cupcake stand is Shimmer White cardstock and measures 2"x3".  And I just went up a 1/4" for each piece it was layered with.  And that whole piece is velcro'd on to the front piece.

Tulip Frame

Good Morning Everyone!
Well its been a while since I posted and I apologize for that.  I just can never figure out where the time goes!

Just a quick post before I'm off to a birthday workshop.  We did this cute card at my workshops last month.  I saw a great tutorial on how to resize the Tulip Frame embossing folder and of course now I can't find the link.  But its super easy.  You just cut your paper to 4 1/8" x 4 1/8" and bring it through you Big Shot like normal.  Of course it would go all the way to the bottom.  But than once you've done the first run, you move your piece to the bottom of the folder where you cardstock hasn't been embossed.  It will kind of fit into your already embossed groves.  And just put it back through the Big Shot a little bit, like a turn or two and back it back out.  Super easy and really cute!

I used the stamp set Great Friend, Pink Pirouette and Basic Gray.  I would never think of using this together but the gal that did the tutorial did and they are just beautiful!!  Enjoy!
