Home at Last

Good Evening Everyone!

Well I made it home late last night after getting bumped off my flight out of San Antonio but I scored $400 in travel vouchers so life is good!!

I went to the Alamo but sure wish I had a lot more time to explore.  Maybe someday we'll go back as a family.

Just makes you want to shout "remember the alamo!"

SU! had a card contest.  You made a card from any set in the Occasions and if you won, you got a stamp set.  Well this is the card I made and I totally thought it was awesome but apparently they did not.....heavy sigh. But I'm super proud of it.  Its the stamp set Take It To Heart the new pleated ribbon in Blushing Bride.  I wasn't sure I'd like that ribbon but after getting a roll.  I'm ordering all colors this week!

Here's a bunch of samples of other peoples cards that were entered.  I'm sorry I don't have the artist names, but if you see yours please shout out to give yourself credit.

Leadership Day Three!!

Well, these 3 days went WAY too fast!  Leadership was amazing and at last count I got 5 stamp sets for free plus a ton of accessories and MDS downloads.

This morning's General Session had me laughing so hard I was crying!  The CFO of the company, Scott Nielsen, did the most hysterical presentation of SU!'s financial state.  It was a parody of Mr. Rogers and it was pretty spot on.

I'm super excited about Sale-a-Bration coming up.  If you are looking to join SU! and my team the craft pots, this would be the time!  The kit is only $125 (that's over $350 worth of supplies) and for the next 11 months you can choose free Designer Series paper of your choice OR a digital download.  What a deal!

Here's a few more pictures of the fun things I saw:

This is the Riverwalk.  I didn't image it this way at all but I LOVED it.  I'm going to explore a little more in the morning before I leave for home.  Yes, I'm going to the Alamo tomorrow!

Leadership Day Two!!!

As usual Leadership has been action packed and filled with lots of annoucements!

We started off the day with General Session and What makes a leader?  Some great tips on how to help me in my little stamping business.  We started out learning we'll be able to order a new Simply Scored Diagonal Plate for the Simply Scored board.  Can't wait to get my hands on it as it also comes with instructions on creating common envelope sizes.

We also found out we'd be losing some products in the next year.  Our Decor Elements will be going away and our Simply Adorned jewelry will also be going bye-bye.  This is to make way for our core products.  I'm so excited about that.   We are getting back to what we do best, STAMP!!!

I went around snapping pictures of the demo resource area.  So that's whats below.  I think most are self explanatory.

I have so many pictures not sure what to share.  I would love for each of you to be able to come with me.  Its beyond words all the creativity that flows here!!

Leadership Day One!

Well, I'm sitting here in warm San Antonio, Texas and am finishing up my first day of Leadership.  Man Stampin' Up! sure knows how to spoil us.
Check out this WAY cute bag we got!!  Apparently this will be new fabric coming to us soon!  And when I went to my make and take session I got that cute fabric portofolio with a tag signed by Shelli!  You can put paper and pen in it and it has lots of extra pockets.  And of course because SU! thinks of everything we got a cute little box filled with chocolate!

See the cute R tag?  I made that to identify my bag and I made one for my roomies as well.

These are my roomies, Tammi Oakley (whom I met on the Alaska Cruise) and her downline Sandy Hill.  They are both from Washington State.

Tonight was also Managers Reception.  How FUN!!  We went to the Lila Cockrell Theatre at the convention center.  It was all Chinese themed (remember the cute fan from a pervious post) and we got to see the Chinese Acrobats of Hebei.

Here's what we saw when we first walked in.

We were also greeted with drinks with umbrellas and lots of great appetizers along the theme of chinese food. I even had a take out box of chinese noodles.

And of course the acrobats.....

We than had a lovely dinner along the riverwalk.  Awesome!

Happy New Year!

OMG!!  I really can't believe I've been so lax in posting to my blog.  I hope you can all forgive me as its been a crazy December and now its January and "we off........!!"

First off I have to share this picture of Sage.  It was her birthday on the 5th and my baby turned 9!  YIKES.
She is TOTALLY into cupcakes and baking shows so we had a cupcake decorating party yesterday.  So here she is before everyone got there.

We did it at Gooseberries in Burlington and we had the pastry chef, Sam show the girls how to properly ice cupcakes (did you know it doesn't come out of a can??:))
I think everyone had a blast, 11 little girls and they are funny.  AND they laughed at my jokes!

Well, I wanted to post some paper creations that we all shared at my last downline meeting but I'm having major issues with my memory card.  The picture above came from a different card.  So not sure what the deal is.
So that's it for now.....I'll work on getting this fixed this week.

Have an awesome week and remember to get your Sale-A-Bration shows booked.  I'm filling up fast but still have some Fridays available.

See you soon!~
