Happy Tuesday!

So by now, I know most of you have seen the wonderful and beautiful new Stampin' Up! catalog!
WOW, my wish list is LOOOOOOOOONG!  And how about those beautiful new In Colors!  Heavy sigh, I want it all!! I think my favorite is probably the Gumball Green.  I'll for sure be using it for my Christmas cards!

Because my wish list is so long and I know yours is too, I decided I'll give you a little help attaining what you might want.  If you place a $25 order or more with me starting June 27 through July 8, 2012, you'll get a FREE ribbon share of the new 2012-2014 In Colors!  That is one yard each of the 3/8" Stitched Satin In Color Ribbon.  I know sometimes its hard to decide if you would like a certain ribbon just by looking in the catalog.  So instead of having to buy each one indivdually at $8.95 a pop, or more than $50 for all, you just buy other things you need and get the ribbon share for FREE!!

Aren't they beautiful???

All you need to do is place your $25 or more order (before tax and shipping) through my online store at www.robynscherzer.stampinup.com.  Once you've placed your order, I'll deliver you your ribbon share. (Long distance customers will need to pay, $3 for shipping).

I also wanted to share some more fun cards with you.  These are swaps I received from some of my club gals.  They are ALL so talented!!!

This baby buggie is from Stephanie Slater.  She and a friend made over 30 of them for a baby shower.  Now how stinking cute is that!

This card is from Anca Carlson.  She's been stamping for a little over a year and just knocks my socks off!  The set she used is new this year and called Flowering Flourishes.  I just love the way the vellum overlaps with the flowers on top.

Fiji Here We Come!

Good Morning!
I'm so super excited to share, as of yesterday, I earned Stampin' Up!'s Grand Vacation to Fiji!!!!
I'm sure you all heard me scream in glee and than cry like a baby! :0)

Thank you, thank you, thank you! And of course, I thank God especially every day for giving me the ability to do what I do!!! I can't imagine my life without this craft and the friendships I've made.  And of course thank you to everyone of you who helped make this happen.  I was constantly touched and in awe of how many of you asked what YOU could do to make it happen.  WOW, how blessed am I????

OK, enough gushing..............one of the friendships I've made through this craft is Linda Chase.  She made the following card for her grandson's birthday and she brought it over for me to see.  I was so impressed that it was all made with Stampin' Up! and that she couldn't find those heart cups we used to sell and how she improvised with a treat bag.  I told her I had to take a picture to post on my blog.  Cute cute!!

Happy Fathers Day!

Hello!

Ok, these two pictures have NOTHING to do with Father's Day but since I haven't posted in a few weeks, I figured I'd better get after it!

So we had my downline meeting on Wednesday and we did a shoebox swap.  Because there were 9 of us, I decided we probably needed to time the cards.  You know so we wouldn't be up till midnight finishing it.  WOW, have you ever heard 8 demonstrators groan in unison.  You would have thought I took all their stamps away! :0)  I of course gave them a very hard time..........stamping under pressure isn't pretty! ;0)  But they got them all done with time to spare and we had a good time. And all the cards turned out wonderfully!

This first card was from Ginger Boomfield.  She used the Bigz Stocking die to create this adorable skate!  We even had tassles to add but I couldn't get the darn needle through it!  But you get the point.
Way cute!

This second card is from out newest demo to our group, Chris Schumacher.  She of course used the Create a Cupcake set and punch.  And used the new DSP called Floral District.  I LOVE that paper!
And some of our new ribbon.  That ribbon has a stitch of white running through the center. LOVE IT!

I have to run for now to take Edwin out for Father's Day.  But check back in a few days for more cards made at our shoebox swap.

7th Annual PJ Party!

Well I've just completed my 7th Annual PJ Party/Catalog Kick Off.  It was a great success!!
My hubby was smart enough to take pictures, I ALWAYS forget!
Sage and I decided we'd be twins this year......I know I look like I was in pain, but we were just having fun.
This year we had an auction for new catty merchandise.  You could only earn "money" by showing up in your pj's, rsvping in time, bringing a friend, making 4 cards and bringing them to me, etc.  Fast Eddy (my honey) was the auctioneer and of course he had them groaning and booing, but they had fun.  Here's some of them with their funny money!

And course we always have a best PJ contest.  One of my clubs I've nicknamed the "Church Ladies", because all but one of them goes to my old church and they took over my card ministry there.  And I mainly named them that because my other club is called the Lone Stampers and they kept bugging me about what I call them!  So there you have it..........
They won best PJ contest, they really put thought into it and I just appreciate them so much.  They make me laugh AND roll my eyes at the same time!!!

This is only half of them, from left to right, Jen Scheel, Sheri Belanus, Kate Harrod and Teri Voss.
Now look at their backs, it took me about a half hour to get this picture because they were messing around so much!  Ok, only about 3 minutes......

This next picture is of Sage and my favorite "rocker girl", Stephanie Slater, she actually brought her pillow with her favorite lead singer on it, Sully from God Smack.  Not even sure if I've spelled that right!!!
And of course we have to have a make and take from the new catty!

Here is the make and take. We used the new Layered Labels Stamp Set (127072) and the coordinating Big Shot framelits.  And of course the new In Colors! We used Midnight Muse and Summer Starfruit.  And the new DSP called Patio Party.  I have to admit that I did take the layout from Mary Fish.  I just used different colors and DSP and changed it up a bit.

And everyone got one of these groovy In Color bookmarks for coming!  Thanks to my friend Chris for helping me make them.  And thanks to QBee for giving me the great idea and sharing her template.

Thanks to everyone who came!!  We had a blast!  If you didn't make it this year, make it a date for  next year!
