Stampin' Up! You're Amazing

Had to share some pictures of my 1st Birthday Card Bash yesterday.  I had 12 fun  ladies making 6 different birthday cards, 120 all together (whew!) Sage even made everyone cupcakes!

This first card was made with a few Sale-a-Bration  goodies.  #130492 Vine Street Embossing Folder, Sycamore Street Ribbon in Pool Party #130812 and the #127540 Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper.  Remember you can only get those for free if you earn them!
We also used Perfect Punches Stamp Set #120516 and the extra large oval punch #119859 along with the decorative label punch #120907.  And of course the adorable Bitty Butterfly punch #129406 in the Spring Mini Catalog.  Card stock colors used were Island Indigo #122923 and Tangerine Tango #111349.

I wanted to use the You're Amazing Stamp set #126722 that I received for free when I went to convention last summer.  So this is the card I came up with.  I was trying for a younger look, for kids.
I used the Designer Series Paper World Spectacular #126897, ribbon used with the Ruffled Calypso Coral #122976.  I know you can't see it well in this picture but on the elephants hat I also used Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details #125585.  I wanted to give the pom poms a 3 dimensional look.

So what are you waiting for?  Go to my website at www.robynscherzer.stampinup.net and get going on making all those birthday cards you need for the year and earn yourself some Sale-a-Bration freebies!

Stampin' Up! Boutique Boxes Designer Printed Kit-

Have you REALLY looked at your Spring Mini Catalog?

Well, I THOUGHT I had but, apparently I hadn't.  After going to SU! Leadership in Orlando this past week, I had so many of those moments of, "I don't remember seeing that in the catalog".

The Boutique Boxes is certainly one of them.  Did you know you get 8 boxes, 8 notes cards and tons of embellishments for only $7.95?

Yea, I didn't know either.  I passed them right by, but here's a picture of all of them put together.

I couldn't help but think, what cute Valentine boxes they would make with the More Amore Designer Paper #129309 in the Spring Mini, add a little ribbon and candy.  I'm for sure placing an order with these on it.  What great gift card holders!!!

Go to my website at:  www.robynscherzer.stampinup.net to purchase these now, #129306 Boutique Boxes.

Stampin' Up! Leadership-Orlando 2013 Highlights

Have you ever been to a PJ Party with 1500 people?  Well I have!

I tried really hard to post to my blog while at Leadership but the internet there was a nightmare.  So I'll do a quick summary here.

Thursday night was the Manager's Reception at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios.  Honestly, I felt like I had just stepped onto the movie set.  It was amazing and a total spoil for all demonstrator who were at the title of Manager and above. We were greeted with yummy Butterbeer which seemed to me to be something similar to a Root Beer Float but not with the strong flavor.  And a fabulous array of food from the Three Broomsticks Restaurant.  It was soooo good!

They had a replica of the Hogwarts Express.  It was very cool.  We were the ONLY group there and no waiting in lines.  I went on the ride called Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey.  It was a replica of Hogwarts.  Honestly with only a few hundred of us there, it still took 10 minutes to walk to where the ride started, through the castle.  It was so cool, the talking pictures asking why there were muggles in Hogwarts, the Sorting Hat, advising that anyone smaller than a goblin was not allowed to ride.  They did an amazing job at replicating it.  I love, love  roller coasters but this was NOT a roller coaster it was one of those simulators, like your flying and I about lost it.  YIKES.

On the way out of the castle I ran across some students from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang.

Friday was spent in amazing business classes and a wonderful sit down lunch among women who share my passion.

That night was our PJ party, here's a picture of my roommate Kristen Evert and I at the PJ Party.  It was basically hanging out in our jammies and listening at General Session and watching great stamping presentations.  And course milk and cookies afterwards!

And to end this post, my roommate gifts!  I made notebooks to take all the notes we'd be getting from this 2 day event and of course a matching pen.  Kristen is a vintage girl and this is what I came up with.  Oh yea, I made one for me too!

Supplies used:  121878 First Edition Specialty Paper
127553 Typeset Alphabet Bigz
129399 Tea Lace Paper Doilies-Spring Catty
126869 5/8" Flower Trim-Spring Catty
129312 Print Poetry DSP stack-Spring Catty
130159 Hearts a Flutter Framelits
126843 Midnight Muse Cardstock
126842 Raspberry Ripple Cardstock

I took a little bit of Crumb Cake Ink 126975 to vintage up the doily. You can go to the SHOP NOW tab for all the listed supplies on my website:  www.robynscherzer.stampinup.net.

And of course Kristen gave me a roommate gift.  Aren't these cute?  I feel like Audrey Hepburn when I put them on!

I KNOW it makes you want to join me in my stamping adventure!  You can join my team at: www.robynscherzer.stampinup.net for only $99!  Wouldn't you like to be known as a "Craft Pot?"

First Day of Leadership

Hi Everyone!
First off I want to say Thank you! to all of you who have supported me with my little Stampin' Up! business.  I'm in Orlando for Stampin' Up!'s Leadership conference and it would not be possible without everyone's support.  So THANK YOU!!!

I arrived last night with my roommate, Kristen.  The weather here is amazing 80 degrees!! I know, I know you are all feeling very sorry for me :0)
I don't know if you know this but its Stampin' Up!'s 25th Anniversary and the theme this year is 25 Years of Making a Difference.  So one of the things we got to do is fill bags of retired product and write a tag to a teacher here in Florida.  SU! will be sending hundreds of bags of product to needy teachers around the state of Florida.  It was pretty cool.

Lines of product ready to be picked to be put in bags.

All the boxes ready to be packed up.

Happy Birthday to Sage!

Well, I can't believe it, but Saturday, my sweet 10 week premature baby turned 10!  She's in the double digits!!  WHAT???
And in my mommy mind, I think, I only have 8 years left with her and it just makes me so so sad! :0(
I know I have many more than that but to have her "with" me.  Does that make sense?

So we headed to Traxside in Burlington for a roller skating party!  How fun was that and great exercise!  I haven't roller skated in probably 20 years or more.  I was a little shaky at first but after moving around a bit, it all came back and my dignity stayed in tact!

Well, I was going to add a picture but its not letting me at this time....

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year Everyone!

Wow!  I'm so sorry, I've been away awhile.  My little family all got very sick and it appears I never finished my 12 days of Christmas!

So I'm going to throw some Christmas projects out that were either sent to me or I did for a class.

First off, I just wanted to share, Sage was dying to go sledding before her Christmas break was over, so we headed over to my step-dad's house, cause he lives on a hill.....and even though it was FREEZING out, Sage had so much fun.

Yes, that was her sled (and her cousins sled) when she was like 3.  My stepdad insisted it would work better than her saucer but I didn't think she could still ride it in but she fit and it went fast!  Made me laugh!

OK, my first card is from Sheri Belanus, she sent it to my family for Christmas.  I think she did an awesome job!

This next picture is of the starting of my Christmas Tree forest.  I got the idea from Qbee's Blog.  I made about 20 of these to give to family, friends and co-workers.  Are they not the cutest?

And this final picture is of what I made for a gift exchange with my "church ladies" club.  We decided to skip the workshop for December and do a handmade gift exchange.  I got this idea from Andrea Wolford, but changed it up just a little bit.

I hope you all had a wonderfully fabulous Christmas and may your New Year be everything you hope for!
